I was diagnosed with hodgkin lymphoma in june 2009. I had 4 cycles of chemo, and 17 radiation treatments. Having cancer and going through treatment was not nearly as bad as the "aftermath". Glad to say now that i am doing good, but still dealing with the emotional side of it all, dont think i will ever get over it, but i know one thing "I am not giving up". It was hard to find other young people with cancer to interact with when i was going through my treatments, dont get me wrong my family was there for me 150%, but there is nothing like talking with someone you can relate with who has been through the same thing. All i can say is that what dont kill you only makes u STRONGER.
