I got osteosarcoma in my distal femur when I was 13, back in the day. Limb salvage surgery, big nasty scar, and a fused mechanical knee later, I'm living in remission. Doin' good. Rockin' out. Kickin' tail, just not with my left leg. :)

Having trouble relating to people. I feel out of step. The cancer's gone, so is the child that had it. The after-effects, however, will always be there. Some people are unable to see past that fact. Granted, some people like burying their faces in the toilet just for the rush.

I'm a great cook. I'm an even better shot with a rifle. Got my Bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in German Language (no kidding). I love a good concert, hike, rock climbing, or just about anything, really.

Writing fiction, essays, sketching, cooking (preferrably over fire), marksmanship, going to concerts, being a sardonic smartass, horrible luck, smiling, a fine taste in beer, and falling over (the last five usually in that order).
